My Very Very Lucky Husband!!

Well... Nick narrowly escaped with his life on Monday Morning due to a Permit Driver running a red light while reading his Melways (Victorian Map to all you Americans) His beautiful zippy Honda Civic Sports which is only approx 3 months old is now totaled and we are awaiting insurance to see what the next step is. Hopefully they will write if off so he can get another. It doesn't look good though and has severe damage. The air bags, front, curtains and sides saved him. Thank God for modern technology!! He is very bruised under his arm and his thumb is very swollen and bruised but he is a very lucky boy....He said he was very glad that there was not a video camera in the car while the accident happened cause he was doing alot of screaming..scared the bee geezers outa him...He was very upset about the car , he loved it and it was very economical on the Gas..but it is only a car!! The young man was taken away by ambulance and we have not heard how he is but hope to find out and we know it was an accident and a hard lesson for him.

So what we have learned after all is said and done..Never.. I mean Never ...Drive and read a Melways and or Map at the same time!!!You may not be so lucky!!
